- Reproductive Rights: Nick is the only candidate who will protect a woman’s right to make decisions about her body. His opponent called Roe vs. Wade “offensive to the rule of law”.
-Gun Safety: Nick supports stronger laws to protect our communities and keep dangerous weapons off our streets and out of our schools. Nick’s opponent voted against a bipartisan gun safety bill that would have required trigger locks on firearms, raised the age to purchase semi-automatic rifles to 21, and cracked down on dangerous ghost guns.
-Affordability: Nick believes we need to do everything we can to make Connecticut more affordable - whether that’s making it easier to buy a home, afford prescription drugs, or pay for childcare. MAGA Republicans, on the other hand, want to raise taxes on the middle class while cutting them for billionaires.
